Comments:

This three-year-old, brown gelding named Hy Bux Reveille will make a superb partner while causing you to smile -- as he loves to have fun.  Used at the Atwood Ranch for general light ranch work, even as a two-year-old he was agreeable and easy to be around, and could be used as a turn-back horses for the cutters.  He's a handsome horse who traces his pedigree back to Three Bars, Leo and King, the foundation of Quarter Horses, yet he is modern in his look.

Susanne Neff from Germany, the University student who has partnered with 'Junior' during his stay in Pagosa Springs says 'Junior' is a real character and you can have a lot of fun with him.  Every mealtime he is greeting me whinnying (of course he knows I'm having food for him).  At his first introduction to the pond he ended up rolling in it!  He loves to graze but be prefers to steal the grass from another horse's mouth and he likes to hold your Carrot Stick for you (but only as long as he wants to ... we are still working on this one).  She goes on to say 'If you're giving him a bath, he likes to catch the water from the hosepipe and he is diving his whole head into the basin (God knows what he's looking for)!'  On a more serious note, Susanne says 'He enjoys being out for trail rides and to take me through an obstacles course in the Savvy Park. Once you have gained his confidence he will try even harder to please you.'  In summary, 'He truly is a friend for life ... to learn from and have fun with!'
